Sponsors welcome
NZCT is delighted to be part of the Women’s Tour of New Zealand. This event is an excellent example of the positive outcomes NZCT makes to amateur sport in New Zealand. The tour allows promising Kiwi cyclists to race against top overseas riders – an experience which will hold them in good stead for future competitions. We also welcome all the international competitors and hope they enjoy their time in our beautiful country.
NZCT is committed to helping Kiwis participate in sport. During our previous financial year we distributed $37.6m to hundreds of local sports and community groups across the country. This makes us one of the biggest funders of amateur sport in New Zealand.
We are proud of the difference we make in the community, but we can only do this with the support of our loyal, hard working publicans who run NZCT gaming venues. I’d like to acknowledge their contribution and thank them for helping us fund Kiwi sport.
To the organisers and volunteers running the NZCT Women’s Tour of New Zealand – I commend you on pulling together this wonderful event. Every year the tour’s following and status grows. This is a testament to your attention to detail, excellent planning and organisation. And to all the competitors who have come from near and far to compete - we know you’ll enjoy yourselves and remember this experience. From everyone at NZCT – we wish you all the very best of luck.
